Jaipur Literature Festival expands its horizons to Heritage sites of Jaipur


Jaipur Literature Festival began from January 21 to 25, 2015- The largest FREE literary festival on earth brings together some of the greatest thinkers and writers to Jaipur.

In addition to the sessions at the main festival site, the city itself became a participant in the festival as Amer Fort and Hawa Mahal become venues for unique satellite events as the festival expands beyond Diggi Palace. Naseeruddin Shah recited the poetry of Manto on Wednesday January 21 at Amber Fort. The acclaimed actor was followed by a performance from Sonam Kalra and The Sufi Gospel Project supported by Rajasthan Tourism.

Actor Shabana Azmi will also read poetry at the Hawa Mahal today, followed by a fiery flamenco performance by Rasa Duende. and more fascinating sessions and performances on the following days till January 25, 2015.
